The 2019 North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) Pest Control Technician’s School will be held Jan. 27-31, 2019 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham, N.C.
Attendees of the 2019 Pest Control Technician’s School will have the opportunity to take the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) Review Class and Exam from the Entomological Society of America (ESA), according to the NCPMA. The ACE course will be offered Monday, Jan. 28 from 12 to 5 p.m. with the exam the following day on Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The School will offer other exam opportunities including the NCPMA WDIR Accreditation Training Program and the Structural Pest Control Certification Course.
Bruce Roberts, NCPMA president said that the association is continuously searching for new educational and professional opportunities to offer to its members, the Pest Control Technician’s School being one of them.
In order to take the ACE exam, attendees must:
- Pay a fee of $355-$395 payable to the Entomological Society of America
- Receive prior approval by the ESA
- Submit an ACE Certification application by Dec. 24, 2018
