BedBug Central’s new educational arm called SenSci University will host its inaugural virtual training event on Nov. 26 from 1-3 p.m. EST.
“We’re excited to showcase this new virtual platform to everyone that will transform the way we perceive virtual training,” says Robert DiJoseph, president of BedBug Central. “Our fully immersive virtual campus allows attendees the chance to experience everything they love about in-person conferences but from the comfort of their own computer.”
SenSci University’s virtual platform is powered by software called VirBELA, which allows attendees the chance to create their own personal avatar (character) and sit in on presentations.
The inaugural event’s agenda includes BedBug Central speakers Jeff White and Danny White, as well as featured speaker Richard Spigler, BCE, of FMC.
Jeff White’s presentation includes an “Overview of the Bed Bug Landscape and What Companies are Reporting,” as well as updates on new bed bug products and his recent Aprehend study.
Danny White will present “Recurring Bed Bug Revenues Within a Variety of Settings.”
Spigler’s presentation “The Occasional Invader” will focus on perimeter pests such as spiders, millipedes, crickets and more. Spigler currently serves as a market specialist in the Structural Solutions Segment of FMC Agricultural Solutions. He covers the Northeast U.S., from Maine to Virginia.
Following the conclusion of the presentations, the first 60 registrants can explore the Vendor Consulting Area (VCA) for 30 minutes to interact with vendors, speakers and fellow attendees.
Register for the event here.
