Nozzle Nolen Pest Solutions, based in West Palm Beach, Fla., recently treated the Riviera Beach Police Department’s vehicles with its DisMist Disinfectant Service, which they note destroys germs, viruses and bacteria.
“For our officers, their cars are their offices, and they’re in them 12 hours a day,” Riviera Beach Police Major Josh Lewis told local ABC affiliate WPBF. “Today, with what’s going on with the pandemic, it’s very difficult to feel safe. This sanitization process gives our officers a feeling of assurance that their cars are free of germs and viruses.”
Nozzle Nolen’s DisMist Disinfectant Service is a two-step process that involves a technician wiping down high-touch areas, then applying a hospital-grade sterilant in the form of a mist to sanitize.
“Right now, being a police officer is tougher than ever,” Paul Sugrue, Nozzle Nolen technical director and IPM specialist, said in the WBPF piece. “We want to show our first responders how much we appreciate them being here for us.”
The company is no stranger to giving back to its community. In November, its team donated food to help provide the Max M. Fisher Boys & Girls Club in Riviera Beach, Fla., Thanksgiving dinner for the second year in a row.
As noted in our November article, “Nozzle Nolen Pest Solutions is a family-owned and -operated pest control company that has served the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach communities for more than 65 years. The company operates service branches in Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, West Palm Beach and Lake Worth, Fla.
“Specializing in pest control for homes, vessels and commercial buildings, Nozzle Nolen has set the goal of completing 4,000 hours of community service by 2021.”
