Sprague Pest Solutions President Ross Treleven was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA). He will serve a three-year term.
Treleven replaces his father, Larry Treleven, on the board. Larry is one of the founding members of PPMA, as well as a member of the Pest Management Professional Hall of Fame (Class of 2016).
The PPMA is an investor-driven organization that has successfully marketed the value of professional pest control services to consumers since 1997. PPMA’s efforts have resulted in positive exposure for the pest management industry and the continued growth of both the residential and commercial service markets.
Larry Treleven said Ross’ nomination to the PPMA board reflects Sprague’s continued support of the work the alliance is doing and the positive results it has yielded with consumers.
Ross Treleven joined Sprague full-time as a technician in 2001. Following graduation — he holds a degree in marketing from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Wash., and a master of business administration degree from Colorado’s University of Denver — he transitioned to an account management position. He first managed the company’s Seattle, Wash., and Denver branch offices. In 2012, he was named district manager for Denver, Colo.; Boise, Idaho; and Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2015, he was promoted to general manager; promoted to VP of Operations in 2018, and named executive VP in 2020.
