Northwest Exterminating partnered with Shadow Rock Elementary School in Lithonia, Ga., to complete various projects and host the school’s 30th anniversary celebration.
The celebration on Oct. 15 included alumni reunions and a building rededication to commemorate the school’s accomplishments and commitment to its community, students and faculty. Northwest’s Good Deed Team also provided the food and drinks for the event.
The Good Deed Team worked with Shadow Rock for over three months to complete various improvement projects to further enhance the school and have it ready for the celebration’s scavenger hunt throughout campus. These projects included gardening, painting, pressure washing, providing new classroom signage and repairing the outside gazebo. The Northwest Exterminating team has a longstanding relationship with the Shadow Rock leadership team.
“Being able to give back and provide an environment that the students and faculty of Shadow Rock are proud of meant so much to the entire Good Deed Team and Northwest Family,” a Good Deed Team co-leader said in the news release. “It was amazing to see so many not only celebrate all they and the school have accomplished for the last 30 years, but also to dream up what’s to come in the next 30.”
