The lower portion and back are constructed of 0.5-inch by 1-inch mesh, making it durable enough to prevent animals from pulling dirt and debris up into the trap. With the simplified locking mechanism and finger grip, the trap can be set and the door easily released. The pan has a beveled back for added strength and is protected by lift guards on both sides.
