Stinging pests are as much a part of summer as barbecues and flip-flops. Customers often call when these pests threaten their homes, and few stinging arthropods instill more fear than scorpions. There are two simple steps a PMP can take to help control these hard-to-kill pests.
- Eliminate their food sources. Scorpions are predators that feed on small insects like crickets, cockroaches and earwigs. A granular insect bait can help make quick work of them.
- Create an insecticidal barrier. I suggest a liquid insecticide designed for residual control in extreme temperatures.
