The 2019 Sentricon System Deader Than Dead Tour kicked off once again on March 11 in Fort Myers, Fla.
The coast-to-coast tour, which runs through peak termite swarm season, aims to increase awareness of preventative termite control and the Sentricon system, a bait station system for termite control.
The Sentricon team travels in a hearse with a 7-foot dead termite replica on its roof – called the “Coroner’s Caddy” – and will stop in 10 states to support companies that are qualified to use the Sentricon system, or Certified Sentricon Specialists.
Here’s where the Deader Than Dead Tour stops this year:
- March 11: Fort Myers, Fla. (Fort Myers Pest Control)
- March 15: Houston, Texas (ABC Home & Commercial Services)
- March 18: Beaumont, Texas (Bill Clark Pest Control)
- March 20: Natchitoches, La. (J&J Exterminating)

Corteva Agriscience, the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, manufactures the Sentricon system. Sentricon stations are placed in a protective ring around the perimeter of a home. Termites eat the bait in the stations and share it with the rest of the colony, eliminating the entire colony, including the queen.
