Turner acquires PestShield

Turner Pest Control, an Anticimex company providing pest control services to residential and commercial clients in Florida and South Georgia, acquired PestShield Termite & Pest Services. PestShield is headquartered in Sarasota, Fla., serving customers from Tampa to Naples, Fla.

This acquisition is the second in Turner Pest Control’s planned strategy for growth in Florida.

“Our two organizations both began as family-owned businesses,” says Turner Pest Control CEO Mark Slater. “Even with the remarkable growth that Turner and PestShield have achieved, we’ve both maintained strong company values and cultures throughout the years, which should serve us and our customers well as we transition to becoming one company.”

PestShield Termite & Pest Services was founded by co-owners Carm and Teri DiBella, who have more than 40 years of combined experience in the industry and a long tradition of community service. The company provides customized services to residential, commercial, and condominium properties along Florida’s southwest coast.

Turner Pest Control was founded in 1971. The Anticimex company is a member of the National Pest Management Association and is QualityPro certified. Turner provides pest control, termite prevention, lawn services and bed bug elimination services, as well as its exclusive TurnerGuard all-in-one pest and termite prevention solution.
