To start out 2021, Aptive Environmental, based in Provo, Utah, has expanded service offerings into 21 new metros across the country and into five new states.
The 21 new metros are located in Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
According to Aptive CEO Vess Pearson, part of the expansion includes internal restructuring that will double leadership in the field for a total of 113 area managers.
“We are incredibly proud to announce this restructure and expansion, which comes with one goal in mind: making the home more enjoyable. This starts on your doorstep with an exceptional customer service experience,” Pearson said in a news release. “By eliminating layers between leadership, employees and customers, we are delivering on this promise and elevating the service experience we provide as a whole with a dedicated team that is more widely available at the local level.”
In 2020, the company reached 1.3 million customers, expanded to 1,035 new cities, grew its employee base by 24 percent and increased its revenue by 33 percent.
“At Aptive, we’re not afraid to shake up the way we do business in order to best serve our team and customers,” Aptive Chairman David Royce said in the news release. “By pushing the boundaries of how we interact with customers — from leadership to products to use of technology and more — we’re not only helping build a better pest control company, but helping drive the industry forward so we can better serve our communities as a whole.”
Aptive provides residential and commercial pest control services to more than 4,735 cities across North America. In 2020, Aptive annual revenue reached $268 million, which was a 35 percent increase year over year. The company was named one of the fastest-growing private companies in America in the Inc. 5000, in addition to other local and national awards for its leadership and growth, including:
- the 13th Fastest Growing Company by Utah Valley Business Q Magazine
