An eggscellent ability to reproduce
Access to regular bloodmeals determines the number of egg batches a female bed bug has in her lifetime. The more bloodmeals she takes, the more eggs she will produce. An adult female bed bug lives an average of one year, so if she feeds every week, she will produce more eggs than she would if she feeds only once a month.
