New leadership is taking the reins of Fumigation Service & Supply Inc. (FSS) and Insects Limited Inc. David Mueller, BCE, founded these companies in 1981 and 1982, respectively.
Pete Mueller is now the owner and president of FSS. Jeffery Waggoner is the general manager. Both have worked for FSS for years and know the technical and business side of the company.
Patrick Kelley is the new president of Insects Limited Inc. Kelley has been with Insects Limited for 33 years. Tom Mueller is the new VP and will work with sales, conferences and new innovations.
“All four will make good leaders for the future of our companies and for the stored product protection community,” says David Mueller in a press release.
David Mueller retired in December 2018 and has been named to the PMP Hall of Fame Class of 2019.
A 1975 Purdue University entomology graduate, David Mueller founded his companies with a focus on researching, testing, developing, manufacturing and distributing pheromones and trapping systems for insects in a global marketplace. Before the U.S. methyl bromide phaseout began in 2005, he and his team worked to find alternatives, so that food commodities could be protected for public health.
David Mueller will be inducted into the PMP Hall of Fame at a black-tie dinner and awards ceremony Oct. 14, 2019, in San Diego, Calif., the night before the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) annual PestWorld conference. Afterward, a plaque will be added to the literal PMP Hall of Fame located at Purdue University.
