NPMA updates wood destroying insect report form

The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) updated the National Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Report form NPMA-33. The new version, revised July 1, 2019, may be used for WDI inspections immediately but must be used for all inspections on or after Jan. 1, 2020. The previous version of form NPMA-33 will become obsolete after Dec. 31, 2019.

According to the NPMA, changes to the NPMA-33 form are the product of more than 18 months of work by the NPMA Wood Destroying Organisms Committee. After it was finalized by the committee, the updated form was reviewed and approved by the NPMA board of directors at the February 2019 board meeting.

Notable changes on the revised NPMA-33 form include further clarification of recommendations for treatment, the elimination of extraneous inspection information and additional flexibility in treatment recommendations.

The NPMA licensed ServiceMark Communications to print the updated version of the form.

Packages of ServiceMark’s 50-count NPMA-33 forms are available as individual forms or bound in receipt-style books from pest management suppliers nationwide. Pest management companies can also order personalized forms imprinted with their information directly from ServiceMark Communications’ website in quantities as low as 100 reports.

ServiceMark offers solutions for multi-part carbonless and laser compatible business forms, including form NPMA-33 and other business documents for the pest control industry. Owner Clinton Kemp began his career as the communications and training director for B&G Chemicals & Equipment, now Target Specialty Products, in 1992.
