Rollins promotes Ramsey

Atlanta-based Rollins Inc. promoted Glen Ramsey, BCE, to senior technical services manager. He started in his new role on January 1, 2020. In his new role, he will continue supporting the Rollins family of brands, and he will focus on national accounts, learning, equipment options and strategy.

Ramsey started with Rollins in April 2017 as a technical services manager, where he provided a variety of technical support and guidance across the company, including operations, marketing and training. He also helped review and create pest- and customer-specific service protocols and guidelines.

Ramsey earned his bachelor’s and master’s of science degrees in entomology from the University of Georgia. His master’s research focused on subterranean termites. Prior to joining Rollins, Ramsey was an entomologist and technical specialist at Allgood Pest Solutions.

Last fall, at PestWorld 2019, Ramsey was appointed ones the directors of Pi Chi Omega, a fraternity for the pest control industry, for a two-year term.

Ramsey was also selected for the National Pest Management Association’s Executive Leadership Program Class of 2019. The program is designed to to prepare pest management professionals for association leadership roles and develop successful industry ambassadors. During the two-year curriculum, Ramsey and the other nine candidates chosen will participate in training sessions and courses designed to cultivate skills and knowledge essential to successful organizational leadership within NPMA and beyond.
