On Jan. 5, several members of pest control industry fraternity Pi Chi Omega got together at the Rack & Roll Bowling & Billiards center for a party to “Help Strike Out Campus Hunger.” The center is on campus of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind., where the 84th Annual Purdue Pest Management Conference gets underway Jan. 6.
The event, which gave attendees the chance to mingle, bowl, and enjoy pizza and drinks, helped support the Ace Campus Food Pantry. As of Sunday evening, Pi Chi Omega had raised $160 and counting.
There were several winners of the bowling event named when the event came to a close. A special “Pi Chi Omega Bowling Champ Belt” is reportedly going to be awarded during the fraternity’s membership meeting on Jan. 7, which starts at 5:15 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union’s West Faculty Lounge. Top honorees include:
- Best male bowler: Scott Robbins, Action Pest Control, 145
