New CheckMate Puffer IMM is designed to control stored product moth species in commercial food-handling and -processing facilities. The aerosol device automatically puffs non-toxic, species-specific pheromone into the air to confuse and interrupt moth mating, lowering pest populations and helping pest management professionals achieve control. Through more than 30 trials, the product has been shown to be effective at controlling populations of Indianmeal moth (Plodia interpunctella, or IMM), Mediterranean flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella), raisin moth (Cadra figulilella), tropical warehouse moth (C. cautella), and tobacco moth (E. elutella) for six months or more.
