Control Solutions Inc.’s (CSI’s) D-Fense NXT aerosol is an excellent option for tough bed bug jobs. This easy-to-use aerosol can is fitted with a 360-degree actuator that allows for multi-directional spray, even while upside down, so an applicator can reach into difficult, tight areas where bed bugs may be hiding. Additionally, this product features CSI’s Combination Chemistry, containing three different modes of action: an adulticide and two insect growth regulators (IGRs). The combination of differing modes of action in D-Fense NXT target both the immature and adult bed bug life stages. Immature bed bugs will be affected by the IGRs, causing abnormal development that impacts their ability to crawl and feed on humans. The adulticide, deltamethrin, will directly affect adult bed bugs, killing them within 30 seconds of a direct spray. D-Fense NXT also is effective at killing bed bug eggs, a life stage that often is overlooked, yet is a key cause for bed bug reinfestations.
