Minneapolis, Minn.-based Plunkett’s Pest Control recently acquired Go Green Pest Control, based in Northeast Ohio.
Go Green Pest Control provides full-service pest control and wildlife services in the Northeast Ohio area. The acquisition merges two privately owned pest control companies and expands Plunkett’s Pest Control’s service capabilities in Ohio.
“We are very excited to welcome Mike Martins and the skilled technicians of Go Green Pest Control as they join our team. We are confident that this partnership will strengthen us both in regard to wildlife and pest control,” Aly Silva-Mulgrew, president of Plunkett’s Pest Control, said in the news release.
Go Green Pest Control Owner Chad Gotliebowski added, “I chose Plunkett’s because after they approached us, the way they operated felt similar to how Go Green operates. I wanted someone who was going to treat my employees well, and who would cause little disruption to the service my clients are used to receiving. Plunkett’s felt like the right fit, and I’m confident I am leaving my employees and customers in good hands.”
Go Green Pest Control was started by Gotliebowski in 2017 as a full-service pest control company and branched out into offering wildlife services as well when Michael Martins joined the team as vice president. Gotliebowski will continue the South Carolina division of the company, while Martins will transition into a roll at Plunkett’s/Varment Guard’s specialized bird division. Go Green Pest Control’s staff will be joining the Varment Guard Team as well.
