Danny Myers, co-founder of VM Products, passed away Dec. 3, 2024. He was 68.
A news release from the Arlington, Texas-based industry manufacturer describes Myers’ unwavering dedication to the pest management industry that “left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to meet him. Danny firmly believed that no matter what you want, ‘if you just do what you have to do,’ you’ll achieve it. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel special, and his presence in any room was unmistakable — always smiling and uplifting. Assertive yet approachable, he had a natural talent for winning people over. His enthusiasm, work ethic, and strong sense of integrity endeared him to all who crossed his path. His relentless drive and ambition further fueled his impact, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.”
In 1981, Myers and his wife, Stephanie, founded Myers Pest & Termite Services in Euless, Texas. They sold it to Massey Services in 2012. Myers was good friends with Ethan Vickery and when the latter decided to make his vision for the EZ Klean Rodent Bait Station into a reality in 2003, Myers offered both financing and mentorship for the founding of VM Products.
“Together, we transformed the VM brand into a recognized industry leader,” Vickery said in the news release. “Our collaboration was built on talent, friendship, vision, hard work, and a shared commitment to people and products that laid the foundation for success.”
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will take place Saturday, Dec. 7, at 1 p.m. Central at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX, 76034.
