American Pest produced seven new Associate Certified Entomologists (ACE) in 2019, breaking the company’s record total of certified pest professionals.
The ACE program is a benchmark of professionalism in the pest management industry. ACE applicants are required to have a minimum of five years verifiable pest management experience and pass a comprehensive 150-question exam testing their knowledge of the industry.
“The hard work and dedication that our newest certified entomologists have provided to American Pest is incredibly appreciated,” says David Billingsly, president of American Pest. “As we have rapidly grown throughout the year, they each proved that they believe in the American Pest mission of becoming the leader in modern preventative pest management.”
The following team members have passed their ACE certification in 2019:
- Adam Pheister, technician supervisor
- Andrea Brubaker, vice president of business development
- Augustine Takyi, quality control supervisor
- James Christiansen, branch manager
- Jessie Sanchez, technician supervisor
- Kyle Beahm, pest professional
- Tim Pleasant, bed bug service manager
American Pest now has four Board Certified Entomologists, 14 Associate Certified Entomologists, more than 140 state certified technicians, a K9 bed bug detection team and more than 280 pest professionals.
American Pest, an Anticimex company, has provided integrated pest management solutions since 1925. The company serves more than 30,000 homes and businesses, as well as federal offices and institutions, throughout Washington D.C., Maryland and northern Virginia.
