Truly Nolen promotes California manager

Truly Nolen Pest Control, based in Tucson, Ariz., has promoted Melvin “Buddy” Jones to manager of the company’s Moreno, Calif., service office.

Jones joined Truly Nolen in November 2018 and was most recently a manager-in-training at the company.

As manager, Jones’ responsibilities will include gaining and maintaining community visibility, and encouraging his team to follow Truly Nolen’s core values.

“I am excited about developing the territory and branding us in the community we serve,” Jones said. “I enjoy working with a team where everyone has the same goal of success.”

Previously, Jones worked in the bail bonds industry for 10 years and in the real estate industry for 12 years. Part of his former role included managing sales and developing a sales process.

“Buddy has an extensive background of sales management and was a quick learner during his training,” said Lee Blair, district manager, California. “He has embraced our company’s core values and culture, and I am happy he is leading our team in Moreno Valley.”

“I met Buddy for the first time in person at our 2020 Manager Meeting and was very impressed with his interactions during the many breakout groups,”  said Toby Srebnik, manager, public relations and communications for Truly Nolen. “I have no doubt Buddy will quickly become active within his local community and help make our company even more visible as each day passes.”

Recently, Truly Nolen was named one of Franchise Business Review’s (FBR’s) 2020 Top 200 Franchise Opportunities. This marks the 22nd time Truly Nolen has been named to a “Best of the Best” list since 2006.
