For ant management, Doxem Precise behaves as both a bait and a physical control tool. Like many other insects, ants groom themselves of foreign particles that may accumulate on their bodies and their nestmates’ bodies. This natural grooming process causes ants to ingest Doxem Precise. In addition, the workers can gather particles of Doxem Precise and deliver them to larval nestmates as a food source, furthering the spread of the active ingredient throughout the colony. Doxem Precise can be placed deep into voids, harborages and other foraging areas. The non-repellent nature of the bait means ant populations won’t bud or spread away from the initial infestation site, the company says. Doxem Precise is also labeled for cockroaches, silverfish, stored product pests and other common pests.
