Bed bug control strategies focusing on prevention as a central principle has proven to be an indispensable and essential approach for pest management professionals (PMPs) serving numerous industries.
Our own company offers a family of programs for affordable housing, other multi-occupant dwellings, hospitality, and senior care facilities that involve working collaboratively with management, residents, staff, and PMPs to offer multifaceted, facility-wide, preventive-centric approaches to long-term control and prevention of public health pests, including bed bugs. Over a two-year period, our affordable housing program has reduced bed bug reintroductions by more than 99 percent, while delivering 40 percent operational savings to property management.
The reality is the present landscape of bed bugs is worsening, and responding reactively is simply not enough. Bed bug prevention is good business.
