The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) will hosts its Premier Technician Courses March 9-10 at the North Carolina State University Training Facility in Raleigh, N.C.
The NCPMA Preview Technician Program is designed for pest management professionals (PMPs) who are committed to the field and who strive to be experts in the industry. According to a news release for the event, the Premiere Technician program “offers a continuous series of courses that will elevate your understanding of pest infestations from discovery to treatment.”
The Premier Technician designation will be awarded to industry professionals who complete eight or more Premier Technician courses.
On March 9, the topic for the course will be about bed bugs. Titled “Everything About Bed Bugs from A to Z,” the course will feature Dr. Dini Miller, an urban pest management specialist from Virginia Tech. Dr. Miller is also a member of Pest Management Professional’s Hall of Fame (Class of 2019). PMPs will have a chance to earn seven CCU credits in this course.
On March 10, the topic the course called “Occasional Invaders: What Are They & What To Do?” will feature Marie Horner, ACE, vice president of government affairs and industry stewardship from Arrow Exterminators. PMPs will also have a chance to earn seven CCU credits.
