Go-Forth Pest Control, based in Greensboro, N.C., has partnered with the American Heart Association. Starting in 2021, Go-Forth became the NC Triad and Iredell County platform sponsor for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign for the next 3 years.
In addition to a large financial donation, the company will lead a workplace health education series on mental health and healthy eating on the go. The series will be available for employers and their teams across the region. A a recent company-wide survey revealed strong interest in an employee wellness program at Go-Forth. VP Leah Hazelwood will serve on the Triad Go Red Executive Leadership Team.
“Our love to serve goes beyond ridding properties of bugs and termites and weeds and hanging Christmas lights,” said Leah’s husband and Go-Forth CEO Chase Hazelwood. “We also love to serve by volunteering, donating, and sponsoring organizations that support our local communities, that help us engage with our employees, and help all of us continue to grow as people.”

In 2020, the company collaborated with the non-profit organization, Cover the City Project, a volunteer group that supports the homeless population in local. Go-Forth collected more than 200 blankets for Cover the City’s November Blanket Drive. Go-Forth’s new video series, “Community Spotlight,” features the nonprofit in a recent episode.
Also, in 2020, Go-Forth partnered with Seven Homes, a local family foster care program that focuses on serving the needs of North Carolina children and families involved in the foster care and adoption system. During December, Go-Forth donated more than 50 gifts for the annual Angel Tree Drive and also helped decorate Seven Homes’ building, next door to Go-Forth’s corporate office, for its Christmas Wonderland Drive.
In 2019, Go-Forth Pest Control became the headline sponsor of NC Fusion, including both the U-23 NC Fusion Professional Development League team and its youth competitive soccer programs. Go-Forth supports NC Fusion’s goal of promoting healthy lifestyles and team-oriented values like sportsmanship, hard work, humility and accountability to as many kids as possible. Leah also volunteers on the NC Fusion Strategic Communications Committee.
For years, Go-Forth Pest Control has been involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Previously, the company has assembled teams of walkers, offered matching corporate donations and provided fun activities for the kids as part of the Great Strides Walk in High Point, the foundation’s biggest event in the area. Leah also serves on the event’s planning committee.
Other organizations Go-Forth has helped: The Salvation Army, High Point Kiwanis Club, SCAN, Miss Thomasville & Miss Central Carolina Pageant, Durham Nativity School, Habitat for Humanity, Duke Children’s Hospital, SPCA, Victory Junction Gang Camp and various local schools.
Go-Forth Pest Control originally opened in High Point, N.C. and has branches in Lake Norman, Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C., Columbia, S.C. and Richmond, Va. The company is home to seven N.C. Statewide Technicians of the Year. It has also received a Family Business award and a Triad Best Places to Work award. The company was named a Triad Fast 50 company and one of Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies in America.
