Truly Nolen Pest Control will celebrate its career week February 17-21. The company is set to unveil a new website, where any team member can begin to chart their own course.
“As career development goes hand-in-hand with retention, we wanted to create a way for our team members to feel empowered to follow the direction that interests them,” said Jeff Bohne, director of human resources, Truly Nolen. “This week, we are unveiling our ‘Your Truly Nolen Career’ House where team members can grow their career brick-by-brick.”
The tracker allows a team member to have a checklist of the modules they need to go through to be ready for a future promotion when a position becomes available or to continue their successful career in their current position.
The company’s focus on career building over the years led to an examination of how to best quantify the key characteristics demonstrated by team members.

Michallea Small
Michallea Small, a termite supervisor in Phoenix, first joined the company in 2020 as a termite technician. She is an example of someone who has grown with the company and succeeded with her direction.
“My favorite thing about working for this company has to be the company culture that starts on day one and, for me, has continued throughout my career here,” said Small.

Neal Killian
Neal Killian joined the company in 2020 as a manager in Port St. Lucie, and became the area manager for Central Florida in 2024. He is another example of someone who had a course in mind and was able to grow within the company.
“My current role allows me to coach and develop team members to help them further their personal and professional goals, which others did for me along the way,” said Killian.

Ashley Luttrell
Ashley Luttrell started with Truly Nolen in 2014 through a temp agency as a customer service representative. She was recently promoted to operations manager of the company’s Fort Worth service office.
“Two things I am looking forward to in my new role are being able to build a great culture and growing our market share in Texas,” said Luttrell.
