Latest moves from Massey Services include growth in Florida and internal promotions

Massey Services recently expanded its operations in Florida. Additionally, the Orlando, Fla.-based company promoted a pair of employees to new roles.

Growth in the Sunshine State

Massey acquired Solve Pest Pros of Jacksonville, Fla. Solve Pest Pros has been providing residential pest and termite services to nearly 6,000 customers in Northeast Florida.

The acquisition will give Massey Services 15 service centers in and around Jacksonville that provide services to more than 57,000 customers.

Latest promotions

Massey also recently promoted two employees: Melissa Meyer to senior director of human resources and Blaine Helsby to senior director of accounting and reporting.

• Joined Massey in 2005 as an office manager in the Port Orange, Fla., Service Center.
• In 2014, she transitioned to the administrative training team.
• In 2022, she was appointed to director of human resources (HR).

As senior director of human resources, Meyer will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including:

• Policies.
• Compliance.
• Benefits and workers’ compensation.
• Employee relations.
• Performance management.
• Organizational development.
