Use glue boards to capture wasps, hornets and yellowjackets around a residential account. They often bore entrance holes into structures. Surround a hole with glue boards, or make a hole that is slightly larger than the entry tunnel and attach it, glue-side out, to the structure.

This should be done in the evening so that the pests can exit the next day. When they return to the nest after foraging, they typically land outside the entrance and walk around it before entering. They get stuck on the sticky surface and quickly pile up, greatly reducing the population.
