Truly Nolen acquires Hawkeye Pest Control

Tucson, Ariz.-based Truly Nolen Pest Control acquired Hawkeye Pest Control, which is located in Odessa, Fla. Terms were not disclosed.

“We are excited to welcome Hawkeye’s customers to our Truly Nolen family,” Truly Nolen President Scarlett Nolen said in a news release. “Their company has provided terrific commercial and residential pest control service for two decades, and we believe their level of customer service excellence is a perfect strategic fit for our company. This allows us to service even more commercial and residential customers throughout metro Tampa Bay, which is one of our largest service areas in Florida.”

Obie and Lisa Munoz are owners of Hawkeye Pest Control, the third acquisition of 2021 for Truly Nolen. Hawkeye provides pest control services to customers in metro Tampa, Fla.

“Lisa and I have enjoyed building a highly reputable business providing excellent service to our customers since 2001 but have decided it was time to move on to the next exciting chapter in our lives,” Obie said in the news release. “We look forward to the Truly Nolen team continuing to provide the great service and high standards our customers have come to expect.”

Zenobi Pest Control of Naples, Fla., and Shields Pest Control of Tucson, Ariz.,. served as Truly Nolen’s first and second acquisitions of 2021. According to Greg Weatherly, Truly Nolen’s acquisitions director, new markets and expansion through acquisitions is on the horizon for Truly Nolen this year.

“Hawkeye is our third acquisition this year, and we thank Obie and Lisa Munoz for allowing us the opportunity to continue providing their commercial and residential customers with the high level of customer service they have come to expect,” Weatherly said. “All three of our recent acquisitions have allowed us to expand our presence in Naples, Tucson, and now metro Tampa Bay, and we will continue to investigate adding new markets throughout 2021 as well.”
