ABOUT INSIGHT PEST MANAGEMENT

Insight Pest Management, or IPM, was founded in 2016 by Israel Avarez, ACE, as a full-service pest and termite control company that serves the Southern California market. For the last 19 years, he has worked extensively in national-level residential and commercial pest control with a focus on quality customer service. Avarez notes that he believes “caring enough to educate customers and employees is a huge component of building a successful business.”

In 2013, Avarez obtained his Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification from the Entomological Society of America (ESA) Certification Corp., and followed it up in 2014 with his Pest Control Operators License before opening Insight Pest Management in January 2016. Avarez serves as Vice Chair of the Pest Control Operators of California-Ventura District, is an active member of the Ventura Masonic Chapter, and mentors other new pest control business owners.

He currently resides in Simi Valley, Calif., with his wife, Christina, and their two sons: Mason, 5, and Maverick, 3.
