BUGCO Pest Control, in coordination with its Dallas, Texas, operations, has acquired Termite Technology & Pest Control in Sulpur Springs, Texas.

Termite Technology & Pest Control Founder James Pennington began in the industry as a young man by working for the pest control company down the street from his house in 1988.

“My love for the science of the industry led to my creation of Termite Technology & Pest Control on April 18, 1995,” Pennington explains in a news release. “We started with one man and one truck. BUGCO Pest Control has the highest levels and unique blend of modernization, customer care, operational support, and back-office systems, which ensures my client base is in good hands. Those are the reasons that I chose them to take my company to the next level.”

Headquartered in Richmond, Texas, BUGCO Pest Control serves residential and commercial customers in multiple metro areas across the Lone Star State, including Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Galveston, Dallas-Fort Worth and cities around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, such as Sherman, Frisco, Rowlett, Denton, Lewisville, The Colony, Greenville, Terrell, Wills Point and Sulphur Springs, along with many more communities, cities and municipalities in North Texas.

The full-service pest control company is certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It is also a Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), which means BUGCO Pest Control has been vetted on both the state and federal levels.

According to BUGCO Pest Control CEO and President John Onofrey, the company also is an active government contractor, “with partnerships with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, San Antonio Housing Authority, Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife and many more agencies. As a Marine veteran, and with many of our employees being veterans, the concepts of dedication to excellence and attention to detail are part of our organizational DNA.”
