Truly Nolen promotes California manager, hires in HR department

Luis Barberena

Truly Nolen Pest Control promoted Luis Barberena to manager of the company’s Moreno Valley, Calif., service office.

Barberena joined Truly Nolen in June 2022 as a manager-in-training. Before joining the company, he spent six years in the pest control industry as a senior operations manager with Ecolab Pest Elimination. Barberena holds a degree in business management from the University of Southern California.

Some of Barberena’s new responsibilities will include helping the service office continue to maintain visibility with the local Moreno Valley community, as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.

Briana Sullivan

Truly Nolen Pest Control also hired Briana Sullivan as administrative assistant in the company’s human resources (HR) department. She will be based at the company’s HR headquarters in Phoenix, Ariz.

Sullivan recently graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a bachelor of arts in HR management. During that time, she had the opportunity to work for the University of California within its UCPath Center.

UCPath is the shared services center that manages the payroll, benefits and other human resources transactions across the entire University of California system. UCPath staff work in a variety of areas including payroll, HR administration, benefits, product management, finance, customer service, technology and training.
