Daddi Long Legs is a clever device consisting of stainless-steel rods which extend from a Delrin (polyoxymethylene) base. It rotates in the breeze, interfering with the bird’s ability to land. The rods hang over the edges of the surface so the birds cannot land.
Because Daddi Long Legs is a low-visibility product, many commercial properties have made this their product of choice for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) units, rooftops, flat surfaces, streetlights and other hard-to-protect areas. It’s also ideal to keep pigeons, gulls and other larger birds from landing. Installation is easy. This deterrent comes in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-foot diameter sizes.
The Daddi Long Legs can be screwed or glued in your application. Bird Barrier recommends using Bird Barrier Bond. This product must be installed where it is exposed to air flow; do not place in recessed areas or enclosed sites. The waving rods have plastic tips to prevent injury to birds and humans.
