Get rodents used to traps before setting

Rats and mice chew on siding, insulation and electrical wires. They invade pantries and food storage areas. And they can expose people to various diseases via bites, urine or droppings.

Here’s a hint for snap traps: Try baiting three of them in a row — but don’t set them. Get the rodents accustomed to feeding on them first.
