ServSuite University under way in Nashville

Music City USA is this year’s “campus” for Columbus, Ohio-based service industry software provider ServicePro’s ServSuite University. Now in its 11th year, the annual user conference is taking place this week at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. On Monday night, the ServicePro team hosted a cocktail reception for its pest management and lawn care company attendees. A packed schedule starts bright and early Tuesday morning — including a new Implementation Workshop room, where users can do a walkthrough with ServicePro staffers one-on-one for the ServSuite Mobile App and  ServSales module.

“I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the new user interface we’re working on, along with our new Intelligent Routing module and the efforts we put toward making the software easier to operate,” Andy Deering, COO of ServicePro, told PMP.  Deering’s father, Richard Deering, founded the company more than 20 years ago to create and streamline reporting for his own lawn care and pest control business. As noted on ServicePro’s “About Us” page, “After discovering what this software application did for his business, the decision was made to take it to the open market and offer it to other companies in the lawn/pest service industry.” More than 2,000 pest management and lawn care and arbor care companies use ServSuite worldwide, the company says.

ServSuite University 2019’s diamond sponsor is Podium; its platinum sponsor is Corteva Agriscience. Silver sponsors include A.R.M. Solutions, Voice for Pest, Brother, Janam Technologies, Slingshot, FreshLime and Worldpay (formerly known as Vantiv). Other vendors at ServSuite University this year include PelGar International, Oldham Chemicals Co., Diversified Sales & Marketing (DSM), CleanBrands, J.T. Eaton, Forshaw and LIPCA.
