Truly Nolen promotes 4 employees

Shelby Gaither

Truly Nolen Pest Control promoted three employees who work in Arizona and one located in Florida.

Shelby Gaither is now manager of financial planning and analysis in the company’s accounting department. She will remain based at the company’s Tucson, Ariz., headquarters.

Gaither has been with Truly Nolen since 2014, with the exception of a brief period between October 2020 and February 2021 when she was a consulting director with Tomlinson Financial Group in Tucson, where she was the outsourced CFO for Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona and provided accounting and tax services to an array of clients.

Gaither graduated from the University of Arizona, where she earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a focus on accounting, and recently earned her master of business administration from Grand Canyon University. She is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Arizona.

Shon Hodges

Shon Hodges was promoted to business manager of Truly Nolen’s Tucson and Southern Arizona service offices. He will remain based out of the company’s Sierra Vista service office.

Hodges joined the company in July 2017 and had most recently been manager of the Sierra Valley service office since 2018. Before joining Truly Nolen, Hodges was in the consumer electronics industry for almost 20 years with 17 of those years as a store manager and district manager for Radio Shack. He attended Cochise College in Sierra Vista, Ariz.

Sam Huggins

Sam Huggins was promoted to manager of Truly Nolen’s Sierra Vista service office. Some of his new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Sierra Vista community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.

Huggins, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the pest control industry, joined the company in May 2018 and managed multiple service offices in Phoenix for nearly five years. Before joining Truly Nolen, Huggins was the service office manager for American Pest Management in Fairbanks, Alaska. He earned an associate degree in business management from High Tech Institute.

Jason McFarland

Jason McFarland was promoted to business manager of Truly Nolen’s Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, and Collier County service offices in Florida. His office will now be based out of the company’s Fort Myers service office.

McFarland joined the company in August 2015 as a renewal inspector and had most recently been the Marco Island service office manager since 2019. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the pest control industry.
