PMP earns national, regional ‘Awards of Excellence’

This week, it was announced that Pest Management Professional (PMP) earned four national and six regional Azbee Awards of Excellence from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE).

The ASBPE recognizes editorial, design and online content excellence for business-to-business (B2B), trade, association and professional media. The organization’s annual Azbee Awards of Excellence competition is open to all U.S.-based publications.

At the Azbee Awards of Excellence held during the ASBPE’s virtual conference, PMP received four national awards:

•  Gold National Azbee Award — Design / Front Cover, Illustration category for PMP’s 2024 State of the Industry Report artwork that graced the cover of its November 2023 issue.
• Silver National Azbee Award — Print / State of the Industry category for PMP’s 2024 State of the Industry Report that published as a special supplement in its November 2023 issue.
• Bronze National Azbee Award — Design / Front Cover, Photo category for Ant Control: New tips, technologies and trends for this pervasive pest, that graced PMP’s June 2023 issue cover.
• Bronze National Azbee Award — Design / Front Cover, Typographic category for its LABOR PAINS December 2023 issue cover.

PMP also received six Heartland Region Azbee Awards:

• Gold Azbee Award, Heartland Region — Design / Front Cover, Illustration category for PMP’s 2024 State of the Industry Report gracing its November 2023 issue cover.
• Gold Azbee Award, Heartland Region— Print / State of the Industry category for PMP’s 2024 State of the Industry Report published as a special supplement in its November 2023 issue.
• Gold Azbee Award, Heartland Region — Design / Front Cover, Photo category for Ant Control: New tips, technologies and trends for this pervasive pest, featured on PMP’s June 2023 issue cover.
• Silver Azbee Award, Heartland Region — Design / Front Cover, Typographic category for its LABOR PAINS December 2023 issue cover.
• Bronze Azbee Award, Heartland Region — Design / Publication Redesign category for PMP’s 2023 Redesign, a 90^th birthday gift from parent company North Coast Media to the B2B media brand’s readers and marketing partners.
• Bronze Azbee Award, Heartland Region — Special Issue or Supplement category for PMP’s 90^th Anniversary Issue, published in October 2023.

Since 2014, PMP has earned 76 Azbee Awards of Excellence from ASBPE. Launched in 1964, the professional association’s members include full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors and graphic designers who work for business, trade and specialty publications.
