The Ketch-All was born 100 years ago when an Iowa school janitor fashioned a square oil can, a Tuxedo Tobacco tin, a spring from a curtain rod, and wood from the base of a crate into a mousetrap. When he set it up overnight, it was found the next day with seven mice inside.

Today, you can find the latest iteration of that oil-can-tobacco-tin-curtain-rod invention, nowadays referred to as the Ketch-All. The company that bears the last name of the Ketch-All inventor, Austin Enos “Brick” Kness, has now been trusted for more than a century: Kness Pest Defense.

The innovative design and reliable performance of the Ketch-All live catch mouse trap earned it the title of the “World’s Best Mousetrap,” the company says. The Ketch-All was thoughtfully designed to trap the whole family of mice without using bait or rodenticide. This simple, no-kill mousetrap works every time and is made from durable galvanized steel for years of use. Ketch-All is made in the USA and is backed by a one-year limited warranty.
